Responsibilities:
-Searching for new clients and taking care of existing clients
-Planning business development and arranging monthly/weekly visits with assigned clients to understand their needs and figure out solutions that meet their requirements
-Pursuing all assigned targets to ensure high profits and -customer/agent satisfaction according to company orientation
-Checking and negotiating the cost of shipping & logistics with airlines, shipping lines, consolidation vendors, warehouse, trucking, packages, customs, etc. as assigned
-Making service tariffs and shipping schedule sheets as assigned
-Controlling and taking responsibility for the risks and debt of assigned shipments/clients
-Building a good network and relationship with shipping lines, airlines, trucking providers, etc. as assigned
-Solving problems that occur during shipment handling effectively and meeting customer/agent satisfaction
-Collaborating and supporting other internal departments to handle freight
-Undertaking other assigned tasks of the Sales Team
-Weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting to the Manager
Requirements:
-Minimum 12 months of official experience in the same shipping/logistics services industry, airfreight and seafreight, and good knowledge in freight forwarding.
-Education: graduated from college or university majoring in business administration, shipping economics, transportation, customs financial, international trade, etc.
-Required language: fluency in English in all 4 skills is preferred.
-Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
-The ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management.
-Proficient skills in PC software such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook email.
-Good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
-Maturity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Highly motivated individual, energetic, and team player.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think laterally while offering creative solutions.
